Designers and Staff

Teresa Aguilera, Lead Designer
teresa [at] rebargroup.org
Teresa brings a fresh and innovative eye to all of Rebar’s  graphic, print and web materials. She is the designer of the collateral for such projects as Rebar’s installation at the American Pavilion of the Venice Architecture Biennale,  Bushwaffle,  PARK(ing) Day, Año Nuevo Island and Leaves of Grass. Originally from Phoenix, Teresa studied Graphic Design at Arizona State University.

Masha Slavnova, Designer
masha [at] rebargroup.org
Originally from Vladimir, Russia, Masha studied art, illustration and architecture. Her ongoing fascination with all things latent and untagged, built or temporary manifests in a range of projects, including temporary parks, projections on dust, public art, animation and film. Whether pedal powering an amplifier on a street corner, using power tools or throwing a chalk party, Masha’s work is guided by a spirit of curiosity and play. Masha received formal art training in Russia and an Architecture degree from the University of Texas, Arlington.

Laura Webb, Operations Manager
laura [at] rebargroup.org
When Laura Webb isn’t managing Rebar’s internal operations or balancing the books, you will find her dreaming up her next sculpture or art installation. A native of Northern California, she brings passion and dedication to the execution of all Rebar projects, great and small.

Noah Brezel, Project Manager
noah [at] rebargroup.org
Noah graduated with honors from California College of the Arts, focusing his thesis on designing and building furniture that act as a catalyst for public interaction. Attempting to bridge the gap between craft and design, he combines traditional hand-craftsmanship with state of the art technology. Noah is currently working as a Project Manager for the Walklet project and all-around prototyper. When not in the shop, Noah is generally cycling, climbing, or snowboarding.
